Membership is Free!
Membership in the Tennessee Geographic Alliance is free. To save paper and reduce operating costs, we communicate with our members mainly through an electronic “listserv” to which you have already been added. If you have never belonged to a listserv, think of it as an email community for people to receive and share information about specific topics. In the case of the Tennessee Geographic Alliance listserv, the topic is K-12 Geography Education and related TGA activities.
The listserv is monitored closely by me, the Coordinator of the Tennessee Geographic Alliance. All messages that go out to our membership must be approved by me and I make every attempt to filter out spam and commercial messages. You will receive on average two or three messages a week and all of them will relate to low-cost or no-cost materials available for teachers, helpful lesson plans, professional development opportunities and other geography related information. You may ask at any time to no longer receive emails from the Alliance and I will remove you from the listserv.
