Geography Teacher of the Year Awards
The LOTTIE AND ALDEN BEVERLY GEOGRAPHY TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD and TOM AND STELLA MULLANE GEOGRAPHY TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD will be presented during the TCSS Annual Conference.
The BEVERLY award is bestowed for superior achievement in the teaching of geography in grades K-6. The MULLANE award is bestowed for superior achievement in the teaching of geography in grades 7-12. You do not have to be a Social Studies teacher to win.
These awards each carry a $500 cash prize. Nominations are currently being accepted by the Tennessee Geographic Alliance. Nominees must be educators in Tennessee and members of the TGA. Tennessee Geographic Alliance staff members and past winners are not eligible for nomination.
Previous nominees who have not won the award are encouraged to submit again. Please submit your nomination portal below. Nominations must be received prior to January 1st prior to the TCSS Conference.
