Geography Teacher of the Year Awards

The K-12 GEOGRAPHY TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARD is bestowed for superior achievement in the teaching of geography in the state of Tennessee. The award carries a $500 cash prize. Nominations are currently being accepted by the Tennessee Geographic Alliance. Nominees must be educators in Tennessee. Tennessee Geographic Alliance staff members and past winners are not eligible for nomination.​ Previous nominees who have not won the award are encouraged to submit again. Please submit your nomination using this form. Nominations must be received prior to January 1st.
