From September 15 to October 15, the United States celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month. National Geographic joins communities across South, Central, and North America to celebrate the history, contributions, influence, and accomplishments of Latinx, Latina, Latino, and Hispanic people who have enriched the United States. We acknowledge the systemic discrimination Latinx/a/o and Hispanic people face in our nation and our collective efforts aim to advance a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable future.
